{"id":54,"date":"2020-11-10T17:34:31","date_gmt":"2020-11-10T17:34:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/limavanzeller.pt\/about\/"},"modified":"2021-05-02T09:48:22","modified_gmt":"2021-05-02T09:48:22","slug":"sobre_nos","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/limavanzeller.pt\/en\/sobre_nos\/","title":{"rendered":"Sobre N\u00f3s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/>About\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/limavanzeller.pt\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=39&amp;action=edit\" aria-label=\"\u201cSobre N\u00f3s\u201d (Edit)\">Us<\/a><br \/>Our History<br \/><br \/><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>1950 \u2013 Founding of the Lima Vanzeller &amp; Leal Lda.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The company is founded by Mrs. Arnaldo Lima Vanzeller and Mrs. Manuel Leal.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>1957 \u2013 First Change Facilities.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The company starts work in the facilities\/ installations where it is still today or where is the same in nowadays.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>1983 &#8211; Mr. Arnaldo Vanzeller leaves the company.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>In this year, Mr. Manuel Leal with his sons assume the company administration.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>1987 \u2013 Mr. Manuel Leal dies.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>With the principal founder\u2019s death, his sons assume control of the company headed by Mr. Alberto Leal.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2008- Creation and Assembly of the laboratory.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>With the focus on creating better products and responding to our customers&#8217; needs, we assemble our first laboratory.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2009 \u2013 The expansion of our Facilities<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>With an increase in our sales volumes, the company expands its facilities to include a new laboratory, offices, as well as a new section for the printed corks and new cork treatment processes.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2011 &#8211; Chromatograph Acquisition<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>With an ever increasing need for better production process control, the company acquires a chromatograph.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2014 &#8211; Acquisition of the Z. I. Do Casalinho (Lourosa) facilities<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>With this purchase the company acquires an added 4000 m<sup><small>2<\/small><\/sup> of covered storage space. This special facility protects the cork from the rain and elements while it&#8217;s open sides allow for natural ventilation.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2016 &#8211; Begin construction of new facilities<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The new facilities are inaugurated and begin operating in Mid-2016, allowing the centralization of all our operations, from reception of the raw material, to storage and stabilization, to boiling process and selection of planks, and to cork plank cutting and punching.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2018 &#8211; Modernization and new lay-out<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Migration and centralization of our production processes to the new facilities, leads us to optimize and re-engineer our production plant lay-out.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2020 &#8211; Disinfection \/ Sterilization<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Development begins on a new disinfection process with the objective of fighting TCA.<\/p>\r\n<p><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/><br \/>Company Executive Statement:<br \/><br \/><\/p>\r\n<p><em>Our products are the result of our efforts.
